Strategies for Winning Patent Jury Trials

The Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) is pleased to announce that we will welcome Dr. Eric Rudich, Partner / Senior Litigation Consultant of Blueprint Trial Consulting at the Graduate Club, located at 155 Elm Street, New Haven on April 18, 2018. The reception will begin at 6:00 pm and dinner at 7:00 pm. Dr. Rudich will present on “Strategies for Winning Patent Jury Trials.”

 Eric Rudich, Ph.D. has been providing jury research and consulting services for approximately 20 years. He has worked on over 500 cases in venues throughout the United States. Dr. Rudich regularly leverages technology and utilizes analytics to help his clients gain insight into how individuals analyze and ultimately decide his clients’ cases. As a social psychologist, he evaluates how jurors’ emotions, perceptions, moral outlook, and attitudes influence their verdict determinations.

Dr. Rudich has extensive experience working with defendants in high-stakes commercial disputes which include intellectual property, product liability, insurance defense, transportation, construction defect, contract, employment and antitrust litigation. He regularly works with trial teams to develop themes and storylines, advise on visual strategies, create jury profiles and prepare witnesses. Some of Dr. Rudich’s noteworthy clients include Google, AIG, Verizon, Travelers Insurance, Motorola, Adobe, Samsung, Apple and Toshiba.

Dr. Rudich also has appeared as an invited guest on CourtTV and MSNBC, regularly conducts CLEs, spoken at legal seminars and conferences, and published several articles in leading legal journals.
