The Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association is pleased to announce its next virtual meeting in the 2021-2022 schedule. We are excited to welcome Professor David Hricik, who has been teaching, publishing, and litigating ethical issues in IP law for many years, and has served in various leadership positions on ethics committees with the AIPLA and ABA. This fast-paced presentation will address common and recurring ethical and malpractice issues that affect patent and trademark practitioners. Among the topics are failing to maintain files to reflect important client decisions, client identity, and conflicts of interest.
